About Gauradaha Agriculture Campus

Gauradaha Agriculture Campus is the only constituent campus of Tribhuwan University under Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science dedicated in the Koshi Province of Nepal for producing highly trained human resource in the agricultural sector to meet the needs of the government sector, non-governmental organizations, private sector and farmers. Currently eight semesters (four years) B.Sc. Agriculture is being operating regularly. The campus is situated in Ward number 2 of Gauradaha municipality. It was established in 2074 BS as the youngest constituent campus of Tribhuwan University.

At present, it is expanded in around 9 bighas of land. It is in the process of expanding more physical infrastructure in its premises. In this campus, there are 8 full-time teachers, 10 staff members and required teachers are also hired on course contract basis as per requirement.

Vision: The vision of this campus is to produce qualified professionals and scholars who impart academic excellence and contribute to agricultural development, food security, poverty alleviation and socio-economic transformation of the nation.

Mission: The mission of this campus is to provide accessible quality education in agriculture and produce competitive professional manpower to meet the national needs of the 21st century. We strive to produce highly skilled agricultural human resources that helps in the socio-economic transformation of the nation through quality education, which enhances the knowledge, activities, skills and physical infrastructure, laboratory equipment, research facilities and providing them to the learners by creating an effective learning environment.
