Highlights
Located in far eastern Nepal in Koshi Province, Gauradaha Agriculture Campus is the only constituent campus of Tribhuwan University offering B.Sc. Ag. Since its establishment in 2074 BS, it has been offering academic services by utilizing collective efforts of University itself along with three tier government, students, parents, local communities, faculty members and well-wishers. Though it is the youngest constituent campus of Tribhuwan University it is persistently striving to achieve its vision and mission of producing competent human resource for serving the nation in agricultural transformation. In its short span of its establishment, Gauradaha Agriculture Campus has achieved some landmarks through students' performance.
Though we are lacking in some aspects of human resource and infrastructures, efforts are being concentrated in healing the lag and are committed to make the educational experience of students quench their thirst of obtaining wisdom to transform the pursuit of knowledge and quest for one’s career building into success. Thus, I believe that in order to assure that the academic and overall environment trigger the for excellence in the path we are moving will be further nurtured by our creative and conscientious students, sagacious and hardworking faculty members, ever helping local people and government and good vision, planning and execution by officials and authority.
The students are our wealth and we support them constantly and continuously in achieving their endeavors. Though we are working as a small unit but we strive to protect and innovate teaching learning processes and are working together for taking this campus high in the academia sector as a center of excellence with mobilization of scarce human resource.
The campus has recently completed laboratory and library building and seeking support for improving infrastructures and facilities in the building. In the wake of globalization and other challenges, the campus needs to prepare itself enthusiastically, academically and physically for being able to thrive in this challenging world and condition. We need to assure the quality and obtain green sticker so, that we will be the first choice among the students. For that we need support physically, financially, morally and socially from our stakeholders as well. We need to concentrate our efforts and hard work with perseverance and dedication. As Campus Chief, I am obliged to my predecessors and seek cooperation from all stakeholders to for quality education for all our prospective students. I commit to academic programs well founded on excellence and innovation.
